The Opera House is still quietly nestled beside the railroad on Owens Road. In the 1970's, Dennis Mattix and his wife, Donna, purchased the 27-acre portion of Owens Station. They have planted more than 7,000 trees around several architectural restorations – a covered bridge, cabins, a small Indian mound, and more. 1674 Owens Road, Marion 740.387.6754 The Buckeye Telephone Museum The Buckeye Telephone Museum offers great history of the progression of the telephone industry with memorabilia dating back to the 1800s. Located inside the CWA Union Hall. Open by appointment. 581 Bellefontaine Avenue, Marion 419-947-8676 The Women's Federation Club Home and The Barlow Art Gallery The home is a historic mansion built by the Barlow family around 1888. These priceless wagons date back as far as the turn of the century and have been restored to their original conditions. Closed January & February. Nov., Dec., March, and April hours: 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
