Five Nights on Campus
Five Nights on Campus is a
performing arts series hosted by
The Ohio State University Marion.
The series features a variety of
performance styles from traditional
Irish folk music to the big band era,
from Broadway to traditional choral,
and even historical performance
narrative, with an opportunity for
the audience to meet with artists at a
reception at the end of each evening.

Marion County Fair
All the fun and games you expect at
a County Fair, plus local and regional
performers. Grandstand activities
include truck and tractor pulls,
demolition derby, and more. Annual
fair dates are the week of July 4th.
The community Independence Day
fireworks celebration happens the
night of July 4th at the fairgrounds.

Palace Theatre
The Marion Palace Theatre presents
a wide variety of live performances
and films with widespread appeal.
Built in 1928 by renowned theatre
architect John Eberson, this fully
operational theatre is a historic
treasure in which to experience the
arts. The theatre, in addition to the
adjacent May Pavilion, is available
for rent to corporations, groups,
and organizations. The Pavilion
space can be adapted for meetings
and social gatherings as well as for
performances and lectures.

Popcorn Festival
Held annually the weekend after
Labor Day in September, the
Marion Popcorn Festival is one of
Ohio's premier festival events, named
one of the Top 100 Events in North
America by the American Bus
Association. Located in downtown
Marion, it is the largest popcorn
festival in the world, annually
attracting crowds in excess of 250,000.
