Temptations...can I overcome?
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God
is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show
you a way out so that you can endure.
1 Corinthians 10:13
Have you had days where you feel like temptations are surrounding you? Even
swallowing you up? In a very broken world the opportunity to move away from
God presses in on us daily, hourly, even minute-by-minute.
There's something to that saying that we can find comfort in company. Know-
ing we aren't on our own, exclusively experiencing what we are, somebody
being able to relate to our struggles. The struggles are real, but so is the power
of God. He does give us a way out of temptations, we need only look for it.
Not only will He show us a way to merely endure, He most likely will help us find
someone else who's battling the same struggles to walk beside us! Comfort
in company.
